Portrait of Chris M. Fry

Clarity over noise. That’s the work.

I’m a digital and systems strategist focused on how organizations communicate, not just what they say. My background spans design, web content management, and operational systems, but the through-line has always been the same: making complex information clear, usable, and consistent across platforms. I’ve worked as an Internet Marketing Specialist, Digital Designer, and Communications-focused project lead across organizations like Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, and the Mashantucket Pequot Museum.

I’ve worked inside large-scale environments like Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods, where communication isn’t theoretical. It’s live, fast-moving, and public-facing. Managing event-driven content, coordinating across teams, and working within strict brand standards taught me how to operate where accuracy, timing, and clarity actually matter.

At Cable Components Group, my role expanded beyond marketing and design into managing systems, workflows, and cross-functional communication. I became the bridge between business needs, technical implementation, and content delivery—helping the organization operate more efficiently while improving how information moved internally and externally.

Alongside my professional work, I’ve built and manage a digital community focused on Northeastern Woodlands Indigenous culture, connecting thousands of members through curated content, events, and shared knowledge. That work reflects something I value deeply: communication that is not only effective, but meaningful and grounded in real communities.

How I Work

  • I simplify complex systems so people can actually use them
  • I connect teams, tools, and content into one clear flow
  • I prioritize accuracy, consistency, and usability over noise
  • I work comfortably in environments where timing and details matter

Institutional Experience

  • Mohegan Sun Connecticut: Managed digital assets and content strategy within a global resort framework.
  • Mohegan Sun Pocono: Solely updated and managed the Mohegan Pocono’s website while located and assisting the Mohegan Sun Connecticut’s internet marketing team.
  • Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center: Directed award-winning publications and fine-art exhibition design.
  • Foxwoods Resort Casino: Developed high-impact marketing and livery design for professional sports partnerships.

What I Actually Do

I don’t just design or write content. I build the systems behind it.

That means:

  • Structuring web content so it’s accurate and scalable
  • Managing how information moves across teams and platforms
  • Ensuring communication is consistent, usable, and aligned
  • Solving breakdowns between marketing, operations, and technolog

Having worked directly with Chris on literally hundreds of projects, I have known him to approach each assignment with charming enthusiasm, professionalism, and the utmost dedication to his work. Having worked in creative management for 20+ years, Chris's illustrations are still, perhaps, the cleanest I have ever seen. His illustration precision--coupled with a complimentary, uncluttered graphic design style-- is a truly unique pairing. An illustrator who can also design? ... Yes.
